BLM Greenlights Easley Solar Project in Riverside County, Advancing Clean Energy Goals

The Bureau of Land Management has issued a right-of-way grant for the Easley Solar Project, a renewable energy initiative that will deliver up to 390 megawatts of solar energy and 650 MW of battery storage across 2,700 acres of public and 990 acres of private lands in Riverside County. Aspen Environmental Group managed the NEPA review process, ensuring the project met federal standards while minimizing environmental impacts.

Offshore Wind Energy Logistics in California: Pier Wind Terminal Development Project is Underway

The State, as part of its AB 525 Port Readiness Plan, has estimated that three to five staging and integration sites and four foundation assembly sites are needed to meet California’s goal to deploy 25 gigawatts (GW) of OSW power by 2045 and support the US in meeting its goal to deploy 110 GW of OSW power by 2050 and 15 GW of floating OSW power by 2035. As part of this effort, Aspen is working with the Port of Long Beach (POLB) on an extremely exciting and timely project – the Pier Wind Terminal Development Project.
